Payment process update at Parallax

We’re updating the way we manage payments

We’re making a change in August to the way we manage payments. To improve clarity and convenience for clients, Parallax Consultancy will move payment processing from GoCardless to Adfin. This will provide clearer bank statement references, a simpler Direct Debit setup and the option to make secure one‑off card payments.

What is changing

  • Payment platform: We are switching payment processing from GoCardless to Adfin.
  • Why we’re changing: To give you a smoother payment experience, reduce confusing notifications, and centralise payment communications.
  • Where you’ll see it: New Direct Debit setup links and payment links on invoices will be processed via Adfin and will display Parallax Consultancy Limited as the payment recipient.

What this means for you

  • Clearer bank statements: Payments will show Parallax Consultancy Limited so you can identify transactions quickly.
  • More payment options: You’ll be able to set up Direct Debit more easily or make one‑off card payments via secure links.
  • Fewer emails: Adfin will centralise payment communications so you’ll receive consistent messages directly related to your invoices.

Do I need to do anything?

  • If you already pay by Direct Debit: no action required — your current arrangement will transfer automatically.
  • If you do not pay by Direct Debit: you will receive an invitation to set it up via a secure link; following that link will complete the setup in a few simple steps.
  • For one‑off payments: use the secure card link supplied with your invoice.
